The purpose of the Lake Geneva Jaycees is to become a force for good in the community, determining community needs and providing solutions by planning and facilitating community service projects. In the act of serving, members receive hands-on experience, which translates to the enhancement of personal growth and the development of valuable leadership skills.  Since its inception the Lake Geneva Jaycees have worked hard to help give back to our community.  With the creation of the Jaycee Venetian Festival on Geneva Lake in 1962, the Lake Geneva Jaycee have been able to raise funds to provide for a variety of community related projects and programs designed to help our neighbors and residents!   For a complete list of the many donations your local Lake Geneva Jaycees make throughout the year please visit https://www.lakegenevajaycees.org.

The City of Lake Geneva Police Department embraces a philosophy of police work that is both progressive and technology-based.  Safety will always be the department’s first and foremost priority. The City of Lake Geneva Police Department strives to enhance community partnerships by maintaining open communication with citizens and business owners.  They continue to meet their commitment to the area youth through Safety Town, CounterAct, our Police School Liaison Program, and other various programs that foster strong morals, safety awareness and civic responsibility.  It is the department’s goal to keep Lake Geneva one of the safest places to live, work and play.

The Lake Geneva Jaycees are once again proud sponsors of southeastern Wisconsin’s “Beat the Heat” program with a donation of $1,000. “Beat the Heat” is a unique program implemented in the Walworth County/Racine County area in 1992 by Officer Giovannoni of the City of Lake Geneva Police Department. The program is officially known as the “Southeast Wisconsin Beat the Heat.” The program was adapted from a similar one that was begun back in the 1970’s in California. Several “Beat the Heat” programs have since spread throughout the entire country as a result.
