Annual Kids Day out

The Lake Geneva Jaycees recently donated to the Bloomfield Police Department’s annual Kids Day Out event.

The Lake Geneva Jaycees provide funding for the Bloomfield Police Department’s annual Kids Day Out event. This event allows children in the community to come down to the Bloomfield PD for a day of fun activities and games. The kids are introduced to police officers and are taught what to do in emergency situations. Parents of the children are given kits with their child’s fingerprints and DNA swabs to keep on hand in case of events where a child might go missing and this information could help return the child to safety. The Jaycees donated $500 to help the Bloomfield Police Department fund this event.
