Max Allen Band (MAB) is the brainchild and workhorse of singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer Max Allen. Performing professionally since the age of 16, Allen got his start by selling home recordings out of a lunchbox at school, later making waves as an upcoming blues guitar prodigy. Some thirteen years later, he has grown into a seasoned performer and composer whose tastes have evolved to include the very best of funk, rock, blues, pop, jazz, reggae, classical, EDM and hip-hop. For over a decade, Allen and MAB have kept audiences all over the country coming back for more of the wide variety of genres, incredible musicianship, thoughtful lyrics and contagious melodies that each show brings. Max Allen has six studio albums and thousands of performances to his credit, and he is still going strong. The local trio Max Allen Band (MAB) has been honored with the title of Indy’s “Best Blues Band” for a second year in a row. This trio has a well known following throughout Indiana and Chicago and makes regular appearances at The Cubby Bear. |

It’s a party band – it’s a show – it’s art – it’s madness on stage – all packaged in an unprecedented and family friendly way. This high energy, interactive show features the sites, the sounds, the moves, the fashion and antics of hip hop’s most colorful era. TWC has opened for countless hip hop and pop legends and has toured the country since 2002. |

($5 Cover Charge at the door) Sponsored by
|
Fresh Hops is a 4 piece original jam band from Northwest Indiana. The band formed in March 2008 as a musical improvisational outlet among friends. Now Fresh Hops has evolved into a captivating, high energy live act. The group has seen numerous line ups and instrument inclusion which has led to an eclectic mix of sounds and atmospheres. As writers and performers Fresh Hops constantly blurs the lines between genres and style, often during the course of a single song That “anything goes” attitude has translated to a stage show that remains fresh and fun from show to show. The realization that jazz, classic soul, bluegrass, classical, metal and progressive jam rock can all shake hands and play nice has guided them to create remarkable tunes from an ever-expanding palette. |
